About the role
As a Core Banking Engineer, you will join our Engineering team in Toronto. This is a full-time, hybrid role at senior level. You will focus on modernising the core ledgers behind our current accounts and mortgages. What you'll do: - Design, build and run secure, resilient software. - Work in cross-functional squads with product, design and risk. - Automate testing, deployment and monitoring. - Raise the bar on engineering quality and mentor others. What you'll bring: - 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a regulated bank. - Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems and COBOL / Mainframe. - Sound judgment, integrity and a commitment to good customer outcomes. - The right to work in Toronto; this role is subject to regulatory fit-and-proper and background checks.
